Despite the high prevalence of anorectal disorders, it is often challenging to diagnose and embarrassing for many patients to discuss. In this course, there are three modules that will provide a general overview of the evaluation and management of anorectal disorders including detailed instructions on how to perform a digital rectal exam. As a result of participation in this educational activity, members of the healthcare team will: Define fecal incontinence and explain the epidemiology Review approaches to initial management strategies Describe advanced non-surgical therapies available to refractory patients
