The POCUS for Cruise Ship Health Care interactive online course provides participants a strong foundation to perform and/or interpret the core ultrasound applications in an emergency or critical care setting outlined in the ACEP Cruise Ship Health ultrasound practice guidelines. The online format provides flexibility while saving you time and minimizing travel costs. The self-paced online course is taught by leading emergency and critical care medicine ultrasound experts, and incorporates comprehensive lectures, case presentations, and post-activity quizzes covering core POCUS for Cruise Ship Health ultrasound applications with twelve (12) months unlimited access. For hands-on skills training attend a regularly scheduled GCUS Scanning Skills Workshop in sunny St. Petersburg, FL for a One (1) Day (8.0 Hours) scanning skills workshop at our state-of-the-art facility. The extensive hands-on scanning skills workshop features the industry lowest 3:1 participant to faculty ratio allowing the participant to immediately integrate the skills learned into clinical practice. Hands-on skills training includes imaging fundamentals/system optimization, E-FAST (trauma & lung), DVT, ultrasound-guided vascular access, and more. Each participant receives a scan log of exams performed to use for credentialing and/or POCUS certification purposes. For the best ultrasound education experience, completion of the online course prior to the hands-on scanning workshop is recommended. GCUS can also provide custom onsite hands-on workshops or private one-on-one training at the GCUS education facility.
