The purpose of these knowledge-based live virtual Clinical Pharmacy Practice Office (CPPO) Leaders Community of Practice presentations is to know how CPL (Clinical Pharmacy Leaders) can integrate the clinical pharmacist practitioner (CPP) into the broader spectrum of Veteran patient care. In recognizing staff knowledge gaps respective of the topics in this series, these knowledge-based presentations will review, analyze, and discuss VHA policies, topics, issues, and implementation support related to pharmacology in VA Health Care Priorities, Strategic Enablers, and the North Star Metric framework. A focused effort will be placed on how Clinical Pharmacy Leaders (CPLs) can institute within staff, the strong clinical practices in support of making meaningful and impactful contributions to the VHA health care priorities and strategic enablers. The objectives of this call series are to provide tools and methodology to the CPL so they can enable frontline prescribers and all other care providers who work with Veteran patients to provide optimal care. The outcome of these calls will be strong clinical practices that connect Veterans to the soonest and best care, to service Veterans with military environmental exposures, accelerate the journey to High Reliability, support Veteran s whole health, their caregivers, and survivors, and finally prevent Veteran suicide.
