“The OBGYN Morbidity and Mortality Conference establishes an education and professional opportunity for all participants, from resident physicians to attending physicians, to take an active role in practice-based learning and improvement and systems-based practice by assessing clinical practice, patient safety, and the quality of care provided by individual practitioners, the residency program, and the institutional system. Through case-based discussions presented by resident physicians, the attending physician participants will learn about areas of clinical improvement, while promoting professionalism, ethical integrity and transparency in assessing and improving patient care.”
