The webinar will address the epidemiology of avian influenza as well as current guidelines and strategies for disease management and prevention. NFID Medical Director Robert H. Hopkins, Jr., MD moderates the discussion with presentations from NFID Secretary Ruth Lynfield, MD, State Epidemiologist and Medical Director, Minnesota Department of Health, and Sonja Olsen, PhD, Associate Director for Preparedness and Response, Influenza Division, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
