The goal of this program is to improve diagnosis of lung cancer using advances in bronchoscopy technology and biomarker based screening for lung cancer. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Compare effectiveness of traditional navigation bron choscopy and robotic-assisted bronchoscopy for identifi cation of lung nodules. 2. Summarize the advantages and limitations of robotic bronchoscopy for diagnosing lung nodules. 3. Evaluate the early evidence on robotic-assisted bronchos copy for lung nodule diagnosis. 4. Identify characteristics of biomarkers needed for effective lung cancer screening in various populations. 5. Review the strengths and limitations of current biomarkers for early detection of lung cancer.
