This EQIPP course offers support and guidance to (1) hospital and (2) community pediatricians in providing comprehensive, strength-based, family-centered care to infants and birth parents exposed to opioids prenatally. The quality improvement methodology and educational content aim to address the fragmentation of care during the transition period from hospital to home, and implementation of individualized and practical approaches in offering recovery-friendly care to birth parents/caregivers and infants in the first 3 years of life.
