The goal of this program is to improve determination of optimal dosing in oncology drugs. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Make provisions in clinical trials for drugs with delayed toxicities. 2. Anticipate differences in rates of toxicity and adverse events in monotherapy compared with combination therapy. 3. Uncouple the association between increasing doses and increasing efficacy for select drugs. 4. Modify doses of small molecule-molecularly targeted agents in later phases of clinical trials to reduce toxicity. 5. Implement novel paradigms of dose selection in clinical trials.
