The goal of this program is to improve nutritional supplement use in young athletes and management of relative energy deficiency in sports (RED-S). After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Elaborate common supplement usage for young athletes. 2. Outline recommendations for various supplement usage for young athletes. 3. Review various health impacts of RED-S. 4. Identify and counsel young athletes about the risks of low energy availability. 5. Individualize treatment for young athletes with RED-S.
