The goal of this program is to improve treatment of pediatric allergies and patient outcomes through discussion of common myths in pediatrics. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Differentiate among various generations of cephalosporins. 2. Explain effects of contrast media in children with shellfish allergies. 3. Use ultrasonography to aid in diagnosis of intusussception in the pediatric population. 4. Diagnose pseudotumor in children. 5. Optimize diagnosis of febrile seizures.
