The goal of this program is to improve use of imaging in pediatric patients with stroke and delivery of interventional pain management. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Identify symptoms which aid in recognition of pediatric stroke. 2. Weigh risks and benefits regarding use of general anesthesia vs sedation for imaging procedures in pediatric patients. 3. Analyze evidence-based data supporting the use of various forms of spinal cord stimulation (SCS) for management of chronic back and joint pain. 4. Consider microdosing as an alternative approach to standard intrathecal therapy for management of chronic pain. 5. Explore use of minimally-invasive surgical options for management of chronic back and sacroiliac joint pain.
