PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: The objective of this panel is to evaluate multiple drug induced sleep endoscopy cases and evaluate treatment approaches. We will specifically talk about standard ways to perform and evaluate DISE, then discuss other important factors in analyzing DISE. These findings will then be discussed in the context of patient treatment options.OUTCOME OBJECTIVE 1: Be able to implement and interpret DISE findings using a standard approach.OUTCOME OBJECTIVE 2: Recognize DISE findings that provide information beyond the standard scoring.OUTCOME OBJECTIVE 3: Understand the advantages and limitations of using DISE findings for surgical approaches.BACKGROUND STATEMENT: The need to better synthesize anatomy and physiology during DISE to provide improved treatment approaches.
