The goal of this program is to improve management of post-intensive care syndrome, outcomes of anesthesia in cannabis users, and safety and prevention of falls from the operating room table. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Recognize the signs of post intensive care syndrome. 2. Optimize intensive care unit (ICU) patient recovery and outcomes. 3. Preoperatively identify cannabis uses and determine the amount and recency of use. 4. Adjust doses of anesthetic medications for cannabis users. 5. Reduce the risk of falls of patients from the operating room table.
