Eating disorders are vastly underrecognized, underdiagnosed, and undertreated. In this course students will learn the common presentations, statistics, and implications of eating disorders, as well as the oral presentation of purging associated with eating disorders. Interprofessional communication, collaboration, and strategies to support patients are addressed in detail.
