The purpose of this recorded, knowledge-based webinar training for interprofessional healthcare teams is to review the basics of anxiety disorders and their impact on Veterans seeking mental healthcare in VA. It will present information on diagnosis and treatment of anxiety disorders with an emphasis on cognitive behavioral therapy for panic disorder as well as innovations that could improve access to and engagement in care. This topic was selected based on the identified mental health needs of rural health clinicians. As a result of this training VHA providers will have increase awareness of cognitive behavioral therapy for panic disorder as well as innovations that could improve access to and engagement in care.
