Seminoma is a malignant germ cell tumor that involves most commonly the testicle or less frequently the mediastinum, the retroperitoneum, or other extra-gonadal sites. They are common among men ages 15-34 years old. It is one of the treatable and curable cancers, with a survival rate above 95% if discovered in early stages. This activity reviews the evaluation and treatment of seminoma and highlights the role of the interprofessional team in evaluating and treating patients with this condition.
