Follicular Lymphoma

Follicular Lymphoma

Follicular lymphoma (FL) is the second most prevalent type of non-Hodgkin lymphoma, accounting for up to 30% of all lymphomas. It is generally an indolent B-cell lymphoproliferative disorder graded from 1 to 3 (low- to high-grade manifestations) based on histology. This activity reviews the classification and pathophysiology of FL, focusing on its slow growth and prolonged survival. Learners will gain insights into optimizing management strategies and explore advancements in treatment modalities to enhance patient outcomes. The role of the interprofessional team is also covered, emphasizing collaborative approaches for comprehensive patient care.
