The National Health Equity Grand Rounds is a live virtual event series that highlights the root causes of present-day health inequities by tracing the historical and contemporary social, economic, political, geographic, and environmental forces that shape opportunities for health in the United States.
The October 10th event will invite participants to reevaluate how data on race and ethnicity shapes the ways our institutions and health care systems prioritize and provide resources to the communities they serve. Speakers will describe the failures and harms in our approaches to collecting, analyzing, reporting, and leveraging race, ethnicity, and other key demographic data in public health and health care.
This is a live event that will occur on the date and time indicated above. To add this event to your calendar, click “register” and proceed with event registration. If you cannot attend the live event, an on-demand recording will be available.
