Returning Veterans still overwhelmingly have exposure concerns and the WRIISC (War Related Injury and Illness Study Center) assessment results indicate that many providers still lack the necessary knowledge and skill-set to diagnosis and manage a wide range of post-deployment conditions.
Gastrointestinal symptoms including irritable bowel symptoms, Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) and functional abdominal pain are common conditions in Gulf war veterans. This webinar will address military occupational environmental exposures that impact gut health, and how gut health impact other systemic illnesses that Gulf War Veterans experience.
