The goal of this program is to improve management of patients at high risk for cardiovascular disease and management of patients undergoing gender-affirming surgery. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to:
1. Use ambulatory monitoring of blood pressure to diagnose hypertension.
2. Identify patients who are at risk for atherosclerotic cardio-vascular disease.
3. Choose medications to treat hypertension.
4. Determine eligibility for gender-affirming surgery.
5. Select a procedure for gender-affirming surgery to match patient preferences and expectations.
