The goal of this program is to improve management of gastrointestinal disorders through gastrointestinal psychology, management of celiac disease, and detection of polyps during colonoscopy. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to:
1. Provide appropriate referrals to gastrointestinal psychologists.
2. Identify patients who may be at high risk for developing celiac disease.
3. Assess the potential of novel strategies for treating celiac disease.
4. Increase polyp yields through use of colonoscope enhancements.
5. Evaluate the potential role for artificial intelligence in improving the accuracy of colonoscopy.
