As the field of Cytopathology evolves, it is important that our Cytopathology task force evolves with the changing demands of the profession. This evolution has also introduced the concept of new roles, and an expanded educational footprint for practicing cytotechnologists. This talk will explore the dynamics of utilizing the advanced entry level skillsets of practicing cytotechnologists and present a template for growth and development of these professionals in the laboratory setting under the leadership of Cytopathologists. The webinar will also introduce a professional growth template for cytotechnologists and cytopathologists alike to create a new dynamic in the cytopathology laboratory.
