The goal of this program is to improve outcomes of patients undergoing functional endoscopic sinus surgery, diagnosis and management of otosclerosis, and management of epistaxis. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to:
1. Select appropriate imaging modalities to evaluate a thyroid mass.
2. Manage contrast-associated acute kidney injury and contrast allergy.
3. Weigh the value of molecular testing of thyroid nodules.
4. Evaluate the need for parathyroidectomy.
5. Differentiate types of HPT based on laboratory values, imaging, and molecular testing.
