Women’s Health Annual Update 2022: Genitourinary Syndrome of Menopause

This recorded, virtual knowledge-based training will address knowledge gaps of current and newly assigned Women’s Health Primary Care Providers (WH-PCPs) and their PACTs, as well as discuss new and emerging trends in Women’s Health. Content experts in women’s health will review current literature and identify areas of practice where changes in practice are recommended. As women age endogenous estrogen levels drop dramatically. Although hot flashes, sweating, insomnia, vaginal dryness, and discomfort occur in up to 85% of menopausal women. Some symptoms diminish over time, but urogenital symptoms tend to persist. This can significantly affect quality of life.
