The Introduction to Emergency Medicine Ultrasound Live Training Course provides participants a strong foundation to perform the core emergency medicine ultrasound applications as outlined in the most recent ACEP and WINFOCUS ultrasound practice guidelines. This course is taught by leading emergency medicine ultrasound experts and incorporates comprehensive lectures, interactive case presentations, and extensive hands-on scanning sessions. All hands-on scanning sessions feature a 3:1 participant to expert faculty ratio with standardized patient models and inanimate phantoms for improved competence to immediately integrate the skills learned into clinical practice. Each participant also receives scanning checklists for reference purposes and a case log of exams performed to apply towards hospital credentialing if needed.
