The goal of this program is to improve the management of gender dysphoria. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinicians will be able to: 1. Define various terms used in the care of transgender and gender-nonconforming persons. 2. Identify barriers to care that affect transgender individuals. 3. Destigmatize conversations about transgender issues in clinical and social settings. 4. Recognize trends in the prevalence of adolescents presenting with gender dysphoria to specialty clinics. 5. Advocate for individuals with gender dysphoria who need care.
