The diagnosis and treatment of cancer, in particular lung, GI (including esophageal), colorectal, pancreatic, head and neck, and others, has become increasingly complex with frequent changes in recommendations. Healthcare providers need access to the most up to date information and a forum to discuss cases with colleagues and visiting experts to provide the best patient care and patient outcome. Following attendance of the cancer conference, attendees will have knowledge of current diagnostic testing and treatment that is in line with the National Standards as well as available clinical trials. Based on this knowledge, clinicians will have the skill to offer their patients the most up to date, cost-effective diagnostic tests, and treatments for their cancer while optimizing coordination of cares with subspecialties.
