This activity consists of two half-day trainings that will provide an overview of alcohol use disorder (AUD), medications to treat AUD, and withdrawal management in primary care. The training will build skills to identify and diagnose AUD, determine a medication to treat AUD based on patients unique needs and goals, and assess the risk for alcohol withdrawal syndrome. The training will also cover special treatment considerations for priority populations, including tribal communities, adolescents, elderly, and pregnant/post-partum individuals.
