This webinar presentation will provide a review of evaluation and management of congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH), a group of autosomal recessive disorders characterized by enzyme deficiencies affecting steroid synthesis. Participants will explore both classic and non-classic CAH, with a focus on holistic management of adult patients. Classic CAH presents early in life and requires complex management of glucocorticoid and mineralocorticoid replacement and androgen excess, while non-classic CAH often emerges in adulthood with milder symptoms. Key management goals include balancing hormone replacement, supporting growth and development, and addressing metabolic and psychosocial aspects of care. The webinar will also cover recent advances, including modified-release glucocorticoid replacement therapies and emerging treatments like Crinecerfont, Tildacerfont, other newer forms of treatment including gene therapy, which aim to improve patient outcomes and quality of life. Relevant case studies will be presented.
