Prevalence rates of primary biliary cholangitis (PBC), a chronic cholestatic liver disease, are rising globally. Fortunately, the treatment landscape for this condition is rapidly transforming and new and emerging interventions are poised to facilitate positive patient outcomes related to disease progression and symptom burden. Understanding the lived experiences of patients with PBC is a key component to providing patient-centered care and individualizing treatment plans to meet each patient’s needs. Tune into this panel-style podcast in which PBC experts from the US and Europe examine real-world insights from a contemporary survey of patients with PBC. Reflecting on patients’ experiences with symptoms, treatment, and shared decision-making, the faculty will discuss leading strategies for achieving clinical and patient-centered goals. The American Medical Association (AMA) has an agreement of mutual recognition of continuing medical education (CME) credit with the European Union of Medical Specialties (UEMS).
