The goal of this program is to improve surgical planning for robotic prosta tectomy, treatment of erectile dysfunction (ED), use of minimally invasive surgical therapies as treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), and patient outcomes using transrectal or transperitoneal prostate biopsy. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Optimize use of a single port in robotic prostatectomy. 2. Compare use of intraurethral and topical alprostadil with pills for management of ED. 3. Cite side effects associated with the use of 5 -reductase inhibi tors used in the treatment of BPH. 4. Compare pharmacotherapy with water vapor thermal therapy in treatment of BPH. 5. Explain the findings of the PREVENT and the ProBE-PC trial, which both assessed treatment of BPH.
