The goal of this program is to improve patient fracture risk assessment through use of the trabecular bone score (TBS). After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Compare use of TBS and bone mineral density in predicting fracture risk. 2. Judge the impact of individual patient factors on variation in TBS measurements. 3. Incorporate updated recommendations from the International Society of Clinical Densitometry when assessing patient fracture risk.
