The goal of this program is to improve filtration surgery techniques for patients with glaucoma and management of patients with suboptimal outcomes after cataract surgery. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Cite factors contributing to the decline in filtration surgery for patients with glaucoma. 2. Select the most appropriate filtration surgery for individual patients with glaucoma. 3. Identify factors associated with an increased likelihood for suboptimal outcomes after cataract surgery. 4. Choose an appropriate treatment strategy to improve patient satisfaction following suboptimal outcomes after cataract surgery. 5. Use light-adjustable intraocular lenses to optimize outcomes for eligible patients undergoing cataract surgery.
