The 17th Annual Sports Medicine Update is planned and implemented interprofessionally by physicians, nurses, physical therapists, and athletic trainers. This activity is designed for sports medicine physicians, orthopedists, orthopedic surgeons, pediatricians, internists, primary care/family practice physicians, physical medicine & rehabilitation physicians, pediatric cardiologists, pediatric orthopedists, physical therapists, and athletic trainers but may be of interest to chiropractors, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and other personnel involved in care of the young athlete This one day course will provide education through lectures, case base presentations and question & answer sessions. Attendees have the opportunity to select between two different afternoon breakout sessions: Medical & Rehabilitation Track. The activity will highlight best practices in pediatric sports medicine. The goal of this activity is to enhance knowledge, skills, performance and care of the pediatric athlete.
