The goal of this program is to improve the endoscopic management of orbital fractures, outcomes of ear surgery through use of endos-copy, and the management of pain following adenotonsillectomy. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to:
1. Determine whether surgical repair is indicated for patients with orbital fractures.
2. Choose an approach and appropriate equipment for endoscopy-assisted reconstruction of the orbit following trauma.
3. Appraise the advantages of endoscopy for surgical procedures of the middle ear.
4. Select appropriate endoscopic equipment for different otologic applications.
5. Evaluate evidence-based approaches for mitigating postop-erative pain following tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy in children.
