Pediatric Grand Rounds provides a forum for recognized experts to present state-of-the-art information regarding diagnosis and treatment of pediatric diseases, outline diagnostic approaches, provide updates on new research, and discuss clinical management related to the care and management of the pediatric patient. Pediatric Grand Rounds is held every Thursday from 8-9am.
Objective(s): 1 Define typical clinical findings in CF (we still make clinical diagnoses even among middle and advanced aged persons) 2 Understand the evolution of care and survival in people with CF (PwCF) 3 Describe the current status of CF and the contrast between those in higher socioeconomic countries vs low- and middle-income countries 4 Recognize the limitations newborn screening and inequality surrounding CF here and abroad
