Dissemination of new knowledge acquired through research is a crucial yet daunting task in academia. Publishing a manuscript is an important way to disseminate research findings. Although it is considered the finish line of any given research project, it brings new research questions and collaborations, so authors should always make sincere efforts to bring the research project to the finish line. The big challenges related to dissemination of research findings are identifying an appropriate journal, writing the manuscript, and satisfying peer reviewers. SCCM’s Discovery, the Critical Care Research Network, presents a multiprofessional team of experts who not only hold long-standing track records of successful publications in esteemed journals but also serve as leaders and editorial board members of world-class journals. This team will lead panel discussions on writing and publishing impactful, scientific manuscripts.
