It is designed to enable participants to learn critical concepts in the recognition of pediatric mental health disorders and apply evidence-based strategies to manage patients illnesses effectively and efficiently. The course will also provide strategies for collaborating with non-local mental health providers in facilitating ongoing care and referral if necessary. Sessions for practice of skills learned during the course will be available.
