Developing such a blueprint requires comparing regional approaches to ICU sustainability, learning how to overcome implementation barriers, analyzing cost considerations and return on investment, understanding how to support staff engagement and cultural change, identifying how to measure environmental impact, and planning future directions and methods of global collaboration.
