Heart failure remains a leading cause of morbidity, hospitalization, and mortality in the US. There have been numerous advancements in the treatment and diagnosis of heart failure over the last years. However, there are barriers to care for many patients with heart failure, so evidence-based therapies are not able to be implemented. The proposed CME activity is designed to provide the attendees with a thorough review of different diagnostic and therapeutic options for both heart failure with reduced and heart failure with preserved ejection fraction, with a focus on alternatives to in-person care and the utilization of technology to reduce barriers to care and optimize health care delivery to a broad population. The sessions will be presented by specialists in cardiology, electrophysiology, and heart failure, reflecting the wide variety of heart failure patients.
