Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a complex neurodevelopmental disorder that presents differently across genders. Historically, research and clinical attention have primarily focused on ADHD in boys and men, resulting in a significant knowledge gap regarding its presentation in women. The purpose of this course is to to bridge this gap by examining the unique characteristics, diagnostic challenges, and personalized treatment approaches for women with ADHD.
