Female sexual dysfunction (FSD) affects nearly 40% of US females and almost 62% of female Veterans seen in the VA report some type of sexual dysfunction. Most patients go their Primary Care Provider or Gynecologist for help, yet few clinicians receive education about sexual dysfunction. As a result, this widely prevalent health problem is often under diagnosed and untreated. Often, FSD can be helped with behavioral and mental health interventions that clinicians are not familiar with. The goal of this recorded, knowledge-based webinar is to improve interprofessional healthcare teams’ knowledge and comfort with screening, evaluating, and managing female sexual dysfunction.
