The goal of this program is to improve the management of acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Compare the advantages and disadvantages of heated high-flow nasal cannula with those of other oxygen delivery devices. 2. Incorporate the ratio of oxygen saturation index in clinical decision-making when considering intubation in a patient with ARDS.
