The goal of this program is to improve management of attentiondeficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and osteomyelitis in pediatric patients. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to:
1. Diagnose ADHD in children by use of accepted criteria.
2. Choose an appropriate treatment for a patient with ADHD according to individual needs.
3. Implement guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of ADHD in regular practice.
4. Recognize the epidemiology and pathogenesis of osteomyelitis in children.
5. Apply new evidence in the antibiotic management of osteomyelitis in children.
