Due to its rare occurrence, this condition remains inadequately recognized, leading to substantial treatment delays and elevated mortality rates. This activity comprehensively reviews the diagnosis, presentation, pathophysiology, precipitating factors, and management of an adrenal crisis. This activity provides a comprehensive review of patient education strategies and the prevention of adrenal crises. In addition, this activity highlights the essential role of the interprofessional healthcare team in treating patients with adrenal crises to enhance the overall treatment outcomes.
