The goal of this program is to improve patient care for cardiology conditions and management of gout. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Optimize evaluation of palpitations in primary care. 2. Select appropriate patients with premature ventricular contractions for referral. 3. Identify triggers and risk factors for atrial fibrillation. 4. Summarize the epidemiology of gout. 5. Develop strategies for treatment and prevention of gout.
