In response to the SCOTUS decision in Students for Fair Admissions vs. Harvard and UNC, the AMA has reconvened a group of thought leaders in medical education and health equity to discuss the consequences of the decision, how it may negatively impact diversity efforts in medical education, the relationship between a diverse health care workforce and health equity and the vital role that HBCUs have played in diversifying the physician workforce.
