The goal of this program is to improve management of alopecia in children and adolescents and eating disorders (EDs) in pedi-atric patients. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to:
1. Identify pediatric patients with alopecia areata (AA).
2. Prescribe effective treatment for AA.
3. Diagnose various causes of hair loss.
4. Specify diagnostic criteria and clinical features of anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa.
5. Oversee outpatient management of EDs in children.
