Alternative Donor Transplantation for Severe Aplastic Anemia: A Comparative Study of the SAAWP EBMT

The goal of this activity is for learners to be better able to describe comparative outcomes from different donor sources for patients with SAA who lack a sibling donor, based on a study of patients with SAA who have stem cell transplantation (SCT) from matched unrelated donors (MUD; n = 1106), mismatched unrelated donors (n = 340), and haploidentical donors who received posttransplant cyclophosphamide for graft vs host disease prophylaxis (n = 206) included in the SAA Working Party of the European Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation (SAAWP-EBMT) registry (2012-2021).
