The goal of this program is to improve management of patients with prostate cancer through the use of testosterone therapy (TTh) and management of sexual dysfunction in men. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to:
1. Relate testosterone levels to the risk for aggressive prostate cancer.
2. Select patients for testosterone replacement therapy.
3. Identify causes of sexual dysfunction.
4. Recommend lifestyle modifications and medications to improve sexual function.
5. Incorporate findings of erectile dysfunction into risk stratification for cardiovascular disease.
